In the field of industrial fluid transportation, FRP process pipes are gradually replacing traditional metal and concrete pipes due to their advantages such as corrosion resistance, high strength, and long service life.

Recently, we visited our company's (Hebei Jiarui FRP Co., Ltd.) modern production base located in Hengde Industrial Park, Hebei Province, to explore the entire production chain from raw materials to finished products, witnessing how high-performance FRP pipes are born under a strict quality control system.

Upon entering the production workshop, the first thing that catches the eye is the neat and orderly automated winding area. Here, our company's computer-controlled cross-winding equipment is in operation. According to the workshop's technical manager, the core of a high-quality FRP process pipe lies in the process control of the "structural layer."

"We use a composite process of continuous glass fiber and high-performance unsaturated polyester resin," the technical director explained, pointing to the rapidly rotating mold. "Through precise tension control and resin ratio, the fiber winding angle is strictly controlled, ensuring optimal axial and circumferential stress distribution when the pipeline is subjected to internal and external pressure."

On-site, it was observed that each process pipe undergoes at least 12 core processes, from the anti-corrosion treatment of the inner lining layer to the cross-winding of the structural layer, and finally to the anti-aging coating of the outer protective layer.

During the quality control phase, a quality control engineer demonstrated a rigorous "three-inspection system" to reporters. In addition to routine dimensional checks, every FRP process pipe must pass a hydrostatic test and a stiffness test before leaving the factory. "Our testing standards exceed industry standards," the quality inspector stated. "For example, in the Barcol hardness test, we require the finished product's hardness to meet or exceed national standards, ensuring the pipe's resistance to deformation under deep burial or complex working conditions."

Besides upgrading hardware, our company continues to focus on technological innovation. For different application scenarios such as chemical engineering, municipal water supply and drainage, and seawater desalination, the R&D team has specifically optimized the temperature resistance and impermeability of fiberglass reinforced plastic process pipes. Currently, our pipes have been successfully applied in several national key engineering projects, demonstrating stable performance in harsh environments such as transporting acidic and alkaline media and high-temperature fluids, with a designed service life of over 50 years.

Our company not only provides single pipe products but is also committed to providing customers with a one-stop service from design and production to installation guidance. Addressing the pain points many engineering clients face regarding pipe connection methods, special specifications, and on-site construction, our technical team provides various customized solutions, including flange connections and socket bonding, based on the actual project conditions. This ensures efficient and damage-free pipe connections on-site.

Through this visit, we observed that our FRP process pipes are gaining widespread market trust due to their superior performance, thanks to advanced winding equipment, a rigorous quality control system, and continuous technological research and development.
