Structural features
PVC lined FRP scrubber is mainly composed of lining layer and reinforcement layer.
1. Lining layer (core anti-corrosion barrier)
Material: high-purity rigid PVC sheet, seamless hot-melt welding process, no leakage risk.
Features:
Chemical resistance: resistant to concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, strong alkali and most organic solvents.
Smooth surface: low friction coefficient, reduced medium residue, easy to clean and maintain, and reduced scaling risk.
Applicable temperature: -10℃～+60℃ (short-term peak can reach 80℃).
2. Structural reinforcement layer (FRP body)
Process: fiber winding + resin vacuum impregnation, no bubbles between layers, flexible design, thickness and fiber laying direction can be adjusted according to pressure and seismic requirements.
Material combination:
Fiber: alkali-free glass fiber, high tensile strength and strong impact resistance.
Resin: epoxy resin/vinyl ester resin (optional), temperature and corrosion resistance.
3. Supporting components
The tower body is equipped with standardized flange interfaces, inspection windows, packing support frames and other accessories, supporting customized designs (such as multi-stage segments and special-shaped structures).
In addition, PVC lined FRP scrubbers can be equipped with an optional UV-resistant outer gel coat to extend outdoor service life.

The PVC lining provides a chemical protection barrier, and the FRP shell resists external environmental erosion. The double protection greatly extends the life of the equipment. The PVC-lined FRP tower has stronger corrosion resistance than metal towers.
