Multiple GRP Tanks Have Completed Their Main Body Manufacturing And Are Now in The Drying Stage.

Entering our production workshop (Hebei Jiarui FRP Co., Ltd.), the first thing that catches the eye is not the busy winding machines, but rows of fiberglass tanks that have already been molded. They are neatly arranged on the floor between the curing and packaging areas, some lying horizontally on racks, others standing upright against the wall. These are GRP tanks from the latest export order, which have just finished the winding and lining processes and are now air-drying naturally in the workshop.

Finished Product Area: Uniform Tank Surface Color, Awaiting Post-Curing

As seen in the photos, the outer surfaces of these finished tanks reflect a soft sheen under the workshop lights. There are no obvious bubbles or runs, indicating that the spraying parameters were well-controlled. Workshop workers regularly rotate the tanks to ensure even ventilation throughout the entire tank – this seemingly simple step significantly affects the final curing effect of the gel coat.

Winding Workshop: Equipment Still Operating, But at a Slower Pace

The CNC winding machines are currently on standby, with several half-used rolls of alkali-free fiberglass yarn scattered beside the control panel. Compared to previous full-capacity operation, the recent production pace has slowed significantly-because the main bodies of several export orders are largely complete, with the remaining work mainly involving surface treatment and minor repairs.

A tank, still attached to the winding machine, is undergoing final reinforcement by workers. Resin buckets, brushes, pressure rollers, and some pre-cut surface felt are on the nearby workbench. These materials are replenished only after each batch is used to prevent prolonged exposure and resin pre-curing.

Packaging Area: Brackets and Airbags Ready

On the other side of the workshop, several steel curved brackets are stacked against the wall, next to uninflated cushioning airbags. These are standard accessories for GRP tank export by sea. Packaging workers are not currently working, but the materials are in place; they are just waiting for the tanks to dry to the required condition before securing and packing.

From an overall layout perspective, the workshop is currently in the "semi-finished product centralized post-processing" stage. Most of the tanks have completed the most time-consuming main body winding and lining, and are awaiting the next step. The workshop may not appear bustling in this state, but this precisely indicates that the production process has progressed to a stage requiring more patience.

Quality spot checks are interspersed during the drying period.

Drying does not mean idleness. Quality inspectors will conduct hardness tests and visual inspections on the completed tanks at different times. In the photo, an inspector is using a portable hardness tester to perform tests at different heights on the tank body. The data will be recorded on the accompanying work order as the basis for issuing the subsequent factory report.

The ventilation system throughout the workshop remains on, and the exhaust fans in the curing area are also running. In this environment, some tanks have been resting for a considerable time, and their surfaces feel completely dry and not sticky to the touch. Other tanks that have recently come off the production line still show slight differences in refraction in the gel coat layer under light-indicating that the internal resin is still slowly reacting.

Overall, the main manufacturing of this batch of export orders is almost complete; all that remains is waiting and meticulous processing. The neatly arranged fiberglass tanks in the workshop provide a clear picture of the current production status. Another set of photos will be provided when the packaging stage begins.
