Fiberglass Flange
Fiberglass flange is a flange connector made of glass fiber reinforced material. It is commonly used for the connection and sealing of pipelines or with containers and vessel equipment. It is the most widely used detachable connection part in pipelines and vessels.
GRP Elbow
GRP elbows, tees and reducers are all pipe connection components, all made of a new composite material. FRP full name is fiberglass reinforced plastic.
GRP Spool
GRP spools are commonly used connectors in pipeline systems and are made of FRP fiber reinforced plastic. They are mainly used for connection, changing the flow direction of liquids, branching and other pipeline system operations. Compared with traditional pipe fittings, GRP spools are lighter, easier to connect, and have lower safety and maintenance costs.
The Composition Of FRP Pipe Fittings
Plastic resins are used as binding agents to hold the glass fibers to the structural layers of FRP. These resins can also contain many different properties, such as fire and corrosion resistant qualities. FRP pipe fittings is manufactured in a 3-layer lay-up process and these FRPs, called laminates, are made up of the following components
Structural layers
The foundation that gives the composite its strength and structural integrity, as well as its temperature resistance.
Chemical barrier layer
This layer gives FRP its signature chemical resistance, giving it the highest durability against corrosive agents.
Surface protection layer
Depending on the purpose for which the product is manufactured, this layer gives it resistance to the environment. It also adds an additional layer of temperature resistance.
★Overall FRP pipe fitting: The overall FRP pipe fitting is generally equal wall thick plate FRP pipe fitting. The advantage of this structure is that the FRP pipe fitting ring and cylinder are formed together. The reinforced fiberglass and fabric are continuous, giving full play to the characteristics of high FRP strength and ease to form. The broad FRP pipe fitting is wholly done entirely by hand-paste.
★Adhesive FRP pipe fitting: The bonding FRP pipe fitting is made by processing the FRP pipe fitting ring and the FRP pipe fitting pipe separately and then bonding the two together. This structure is widely used. It gives full play to the advantages of easy to-form, simple mold, easy to manufacture, suitable for manufacturing large diameter, small-batch, and different types of fiberglass FRP pipe fittings. When the bonding FRP pipe fitting is made, feed the pre-processed pipe, make wool at both ends, insert it on the mold seat instead of the core shaft, and process the FRP pipe fitting ring.
