FRP Process Pipe
Distinguished physical property:
The specific gravity of FRP is 1.8~2.1g/cm3, only 1/4 of steel or cast iron, the specific strength is higher than steel, cast iron and plastics. The weight of a FRP process pipe is generally not more than 1/3 of that of the same spec steel pipe, and the physical and mechanical properties are excellent. In addition, the expansion coefficient of the FRP process pipe is roughly the same as that of steel, and the heat transfer coefficient is only 0.5% of steel, so that FRP pipe is a good thermal and electric insulator.

It is suitable for conveying different fluids, such as acidic, alkaline, saline and organic solvents.

Excellent hydraulic characteristics
The hydraulic characteristics of FRP process pipe is one of its most important properties, excellent hydraulic characteristics means that less head loss. It is possible to use a smaller diameter pipe to replace the larger pipe to get the same conveyance volume. The surface roughness is 0.008 only, good corrosion resistance than steel and concrete pipe, the inner surface always keep smooth.

Low cost for installation and maintenance
Normally, there is no need special treatment for FRP pipe, the insulation layer can be reduced, even can be omitted; light weight, the capacity of lifting device is small, save the power consumption; the length of FRP pipe can reach 12m, is longer than other pipes, need less joints. All the above items make FRP pipe low cost in installation and maintenance, and it have been proved by many practiced projects.
Properly Desing
FRP is made by fiberglass reinforced material impregnated with a resin matrix onto a mandrel according to filament winding process and curing properly. The pipe wall is designed different layers. the physical and chemical properties of FRP process pipes can be adjusted through different resin system or with different reinforcements to suit different media and work conditions, and design GRP pipes with different pressure ratings to meet special requirements.
Formation process
While the inner liner has been prepared, make the structural layer per the designed line type and thickness under the control of the computer, make the outside protective layer finally.
