Recently, a large GRP tank successfully completed its overall water testing in our factory's (Hebei Jiarui FRP Co., Ltd.)production workshop. The fiberglass reinforced plastic tank, with a high-quality white gelcoat coating on its outer wall, met all design standards after rigorous water pressure and sealing tests. It has now passed water testing and is about to be shipped to the South American project site.
Strict Water Testing Process Ensures Quality
The GRP tank that successfully completed water testing is a large storage vessel customized by our company for our South American client. In our factory's professional testing area, our technical team conducted a continuous 48-hour full-water static pressure test on the tank, monitoring the tank's structural deformation, interface sealing, and the waterproof performance of the outer gelcoat throughout the process. The test results showed that the tank had no leaks, its structure was stable, and the white gelcoat surface was smooth and bubble-free, fully verifying our comprehensive capabilities in the design, manufacturing, and testing of large FRP storage tanks.
Corrosion-resistant and anti-aging, suitable for harsh South American conditions
The tanks shipped to South America feature a high-quality, weather-resistant white gelcoat. This not only effectively reflects solar radiation and reduces internal temperature rise, but also possesses excellent UV resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, enabling them to withstand the high temperatures, high humidity, and intense sunlight of the South American environment. The dense, smooth surface of the white gelcoat prevents dirt accumulation, resulting in low maintenance costs and significantly extending the tank's lifespan.
