Our factory (Hebei Jiarui FRP Co., Ltd.) recently delivered a series of Flat Bottom Fiberglass Tanks. These tanks feature a flat bottom and flat top structure with a high-performance gray coating, specifically developed for the safe indoor and outdoor storage of various corrosive chemicals. From raw materials to finished products, the entire production process is completed in our own factory, undergoing rigorous drying, comprehensive quality inspection, and shockproof packaging to ensure each tank is shipped to the project site in optimal condition.
Flat Bottom and Flat Top Design
Traditional small storage tanks often require additional supports due to uneven bottoms. This series of Flat Bottom Fiberglass Tanks utilizes a combination of hand lay-up and fiber winding technology, achieving a bottom flatness error of less than 2mm. They can be placed directly and stably on any hardened surface, pallet, or two-tiered platform. The flat top design not only ensures even stress distribution and facilitates stacking and transportation, but also allows for the pre-installation of mounting holes for agitators, level gauges, or vents according to customer requirements. Capacities ranging from 100L to 3000L are available, with diameters and heights customizable to fit customer workshop height limitations. Ideal for space-constrained scenarios such as electroplating tank preparation areas, water treatment dosing rooms, and temporary storage of fine chemical intermediates.
Gray Coat Outer Layer
To withstand outdoor sunlight, industrial atmospheres, and chemical splashes, all tank exteriors are coated with a high-quality gray gel coat with a thickness ≥0.5mm. This gel coat utilizes a weather-resistant isophthalic acid resin system, offering excellent UV shielding and anti-chalking properties. Compared to ordinary gel coats or white gel coats, the gray gel coat effectively conceals minor stains and boasts high surface hardness and scratch resistance, extending the tank's lifespan in outdoor environments by over 30%. Furthermore, the gray appearance aligns with the color scheme requirements of most chemical industrial parks, facilitating visual inspection and routine cleaning.
Multi-layered Quality Inspection System
Our company has established a three-tiered quality inspection system from raw materials to finished products. For Flat Bottom Fiberglass Tanks that have completed the settling process, the quality inspection procedure includes:
Appearance Inspection: Inspect the gelcoat surface under specialized lighting for bubbles, cracks, runs, or exposed fibers, ensuring uniform gray gelcoat coverage.
Dimensional and Flatness Inspection: Use a laser rangefinder and level to verify the flatness of the bottom and top, controlling the parallelism tolerance between the bottom and top within ±3mm.
Thickness and Hardness Inspection: Use an ultrasonic thickness gauge to randomly check the thickness of the tank wall and gelcoat layer, and use a Barcol hardness tester to confirm complete curing.
Full Water Leakage Test: Randomly select 10% of the product for 24 hours of full water settling, observing for any leakage or deformation.

Professional Packaging and Shipping
Considering that the storage tanks may encounter bumps, rain, or impacts during long-distance transportation, our company has established strict packaging standards. Each inspected and qualified Flat Bottom Fiberglass Tank is first wrapped in PE stretch film to prevent dust; then, custom-made pearl cotton corner protectors are applied, with special attention paid to protecting the tank opening and flange connections; finally, according to customer requirements, it is packed into a thickened honeycomb cardboard box or wooden pallet frame, with air-filled bags between the tank and the box to prevent shaking. For export or long-distance projects, fully enclosed wooden crates and moisture-proof aluminum foil bags are also available. After packaging, the products are stored in the finished product shipping area and will be delivered by a dedicated vehicle from a partner logistics company once the project site is ready to receive them.
Fast Delivery and Customization Capabilities
Currently, this series of flat-bottom, flat-top fiberglass tanks is in stock in batches using molds. Standard sizes (500L, 1000L, 2000L) are available. For customers with special media (such as concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, organic solvents) or those requiring insulation jackets, anti-static linings, or multi-point level switches, our engineering team can assist in creating design drawings and arranging customized production.
