This batch of fiberglass backwash tanks will be used in the pretreatment unit of a large-scale water treatment system in Brazil, undertaking critical tasks such as backwashing, filtration, and pressure stabilization. Due to the complex local water conditions and the hot and humid operating environment, the customer has placed extremely high demands on the tanks' corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, and service life. Our technical team, drawing on years of industry experience, utilizes high-quality acid and alkali resistant resins and high-strength alkali-free fiberglass yarn, employing a CNC winding process for integrated molding. This ensures a dense, leak-proof, and aging-resistant tank structure, fully meeting the long-term stable operation requirements of the Brazilian project.

 

Our factory boasts a modern fiberglass product manufacturing base, capable of handling multiple domestic and international custom orders simultaneously. Addressing the project's stringent requirements for tank wall thickness uniformity, inner surface smoothness, and a 1.0MPa pressure rating, our workshop employs fully automated CNC winding machines and a microcomputer-controlled curing system. This ensures precise control over the fiber winding angle, resin content, and curing curve for each GRP tank. Simultaneously, the application of large vertical machining centers and automatic cutting and trimming equipment ensures that the tank end face flatness error is controlled within ±1mm, providing a high-precision foundation for subsequent sealing assembly.

 

Strict quality control, verified by international standards

 

 

Our factory has established a seven-point quality inspection system from raw material intake to finished product delivery. The FRP backwash tanks used in this Brazil project are all made with high-quality acid and alkali resistant resin and alkali-free fiberglass yarn, and all batches undergo full inspection upon arrival at the factory. During production, each tank undergoes a hydrostatic test (holding pressure 1.5 times the working pressure), an airtightness test, and an endoscopic visual inspection to eliminate micro-cracks and air bubbles. Furthermore, our factory has passed ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications, and our products meet international standards such as ASME and EN.

Considering the more than 40 days of sea freight and the high temperature and humidity unloading environment in Brazil, the packaging team reinforced the protection of each FRP backwash tank: the tank body is wrapped with moisture-proof pearl cotton and then fully sealed with a custom plastic film; plastic protective caps are added to the tank flanges to prevent damage to the threads and sealing surfaces.
