In response to the problems of traditional metal storage tanks being prone to leakage and high maintenance costs in highly corrosive environments, the FRP equipment delivered this time adopts a three-layer composite structure design, lined with an acid-resistant resin layer, a reinforced fiber winding layer and an anti-ultraviolet outer protective layer, achieving a 40% increase in equipment compressive strength, a 60% increase in corrosion resistance, and a 35% reduction in the life cycle cost of a single set of equipment. Its modular design greatly shortens the on-site installation cycle and provides reliable protection for deep well drilling operations.

In addition to the corrosion-resistant advantage, the lightweight characteristics of FRP equipment reduce transportation energy consumption by 30%, and the use of bio-based epoxy resin in its production process reduces carbon emissions by 42% compared with traditional processes.

The upgrade from metal tanks to FRP equipments is not only a material innovation, but also a leap in oil and gas storage and transportation mode. After the equipment is put into use, it is expected to reduce the maintenance cost of anti-corrosion coating by more than 8 million yuan per year, providing standardized solutions for the development of unconventional resources such as shale gas and coalbed methane. In the future, CNPC plans to promote such equipment in five major oil and gas bases to accelerate the green and intelligent transformation of oil and gas fields.
