Filtration and sedimentation - anaerobic fermentation - solid matter decomposition - fecal liquid discharge.

The sewage is first discharged from the water inlet to the first compartment. Here, solid matter with a larger specific gravity and parasite eggs are precipitated. The anaerobic bacteria in the pool water are used to start preliminary fermentation and decomposition. After being processed in the first compartment, The sewage can be divided into three layers: mushy fecal skin, relatively clear fecal liquid, and solid fecal residue.

The fecal liquid that has been initially decomposed flows into the second compartment, while the fecal skin floating on top and the fecal residue deposited below remain in the first compartment to continue fermentation. In the second compartment, the fecal liquid continues to ferment and decompose, the eggs continue to sink, the pathogens gradually die, the fecal liquid is further rendered harmless, and the thickness of the fecal skin and fecal residue produced is significantly reduced compared to the first compartment.

The feces flowing into the third compartment is generally decomposed, and the bacteria and parasite eggs have been basically killed. The third compartment mainly functions to temporarily store the precipitated and basically harmless fecal liquid. Finally, the re-precipitated fecal liquid flows into the municipal pipe network through the drainage pipe.
