GRP Transportation Tank

GRP transportation tank, also known as GRP transportation vessel or FRP transportation tank. It’s usually placed horizontally and fixed on the transport vehicles on road, rail or water by attachment brackets, handrails and ladders. They are easy to handle and assemble.
The tank shell is made of GRP (also known as FRP or GFRP) material. The accessories in the retention system can be made of GRP, carbon steel, or stainless steel according to customer’s requirements.

GRP transportation tanks are corrosion resistant, acid resistant and alkali resistant, so they can be used in the transportation of highly corrosive liquid, gas and other media, such as gasoline, acids, alkalis, formaldehyde, methanol, alcohol, etc..

1. In the environmental protection industry, it is mainly used for the transportation of solids or liquids, such as wastewater, sewage, PVC and PP.

2. In the chemical industry, it is mainly used for the transportation of corrosive liquids such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, sodium chloride, ferrous chloride solution and ferric chloride solution.

3. In the living industry, it is mainly used for the transportation of brine / salt water, pure water, ultrapure water.

Main Manufacture Process

GRP transportation tanks are made of resin and fiberglass using helical or hooping filament winding process with machines under the control of microcomputer, or by hand lay-up for special shapes.

When the inner liner is prepared, make the structural layer per the designed winding pattern and thickness under the control of the computer, make the outside protective layer finally.
